Second Tribute of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park

I continue to express my esteem for Linkin Park, with a second portrait style inoleum, was born in a completely random simply because one of my sketches for the inoleum was discarded, then this was compensated with Chester Bennington you see here. I confirm that this new style portraits allows fast and efficient and I hope to evolevere this technique to more creative solutions


Continuo a manifestare la mia stima per i Linkin Park, con un secondo ritratto in stile inoleum, è nato in modo del tutto casuale semplicemente perchè uno dei miei bozzetti per l'inoleum era stato scartato, allora è stato supplito con questo Chester Bennington che vedete qui. Ribadisco che questo nuovo stile permette ritratti veloci ed efficaci e spero di poter evolevere questa tecnica per soluzioni più creative

Tribute to Cain Highwind from the game Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy

Ecco l'ultimo bozzetto della serie dedicata ai lavori a punta secca da incidere su lastra di zinco, questa volta il soggetto raffigurato è Cain Highwind ( Kain nella versione americana) uno dei personaggi principali del videogioco di culto Final Fantasy IV, questo personaggio è diventato ancora più famoso, per la serie di videogiochi Dissidia Final Fantasy, dove compare sempre come figura principale del gioco. Questo è uno dei lavori che mi piace di più perchè il soggetto esprime solitudine, forza e animo inoltre la tecnica basata sul tratto grafico gli conferisce a parere mio un aspetto un po medievale, adatto al contesto del personaggio, che per l'appunto è un cavaliere dragone

Finalmente sono riuscito a fare un tributo ad uno degli uomini che stimo di più, Chester Bennington il cantante dei Linkin Park, avevo undici anni quando scoprì questo meraviglioso gruppo musicale che da allora seguo sempre, sono il perno dei miei gusti musicali. Anche questo lavoro come potete notare dallo stile di bianco e nero netto, è fatto con inchiostro di china sempre per la tecnica a inoleum, so che è difficile caprire la somiglianza con così pochi tratti. Ad ogni modo con questo lavoro rinnovo la mia fedeltà a tutte le sfaccettature di questa band, mi considerò un grande fan

Questa per me è una pubblicazione speciale,  senza grossi vanti pubblico il primo autografo che ho firmato a Giuliana Di Caro, ho avuto l'onore di farlo a Etna Comics, per me è stata una grande emozione, a cui non potevo credere, chiedendo se mi stessero prendendo per il culo. Generalmente grazie al mio blog e grazie a Outside Artists sono conosciuto online nel mondo come l'unico rappresentante di tributi grafici di qualità  sui  tatuaggi di Prison Break, ma questa volta è stato grazie al ritratto che ho fatto al Joker di Heath Ledger che mi ha permesso di firmare questo autografo. Che dire lotterò per arrivare a vette sempre più alte senza pormi un limite, grazie a tutti quelli che sostengono i miei lavori e Outside Artists vi sono grato

Un secondo tributo a Metal Gear Solid, fatto sempre con tanto amore e pazienza e sempre per lo stesso motivo, questo è un secondo bozzetto da realizzare definitivamente in tecnica a punta secca. Ribadisco la passione per questo personaggio profondo e ben caratterizzato che in 25 anni di carriera ci ha appassionato e fatto vivere stupende avventure, io conobbi questo personaggio nel 1998 quando ci fu il grandissimo esordio mondiale su Playstation one, il primo videogioco ad avere un 3D completo e una storia toccante filmica e che introduceva il genere fanta politica, che dire conosco tutte le battute del gioco, e mi dispiace che i seguenti giochi non hanno avuto un doppiaggio italiano, anche se amo molto quello inglese.

Tribute to Snake taken from the video game by Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid

Public with great pride and affection, a tribute to a character I grew up with, along with other elements has been part of my growing up, I'm talking about the character Snake taken from the video game called Metal Gear Solid created by Hideo Kojima, this sketch here shown, is taken from an existing drawing, the reason why I chose a job so simple is the technique, while the original sketch is done simply with the brush, this my hand transposition is done with a pen dipped in steel-toed in china, is a sketch that is drawn on a sheet of metal to the so-called dry point technique. I hope you like it (sorry for my english)


Pubblico con molto orgoglio e affetto, un tributo ad un personaggio con cui sono cresciuto, che insieme ad altri elementi è stato parte della mia crescita, sto parlando di Snake il personaggio tratto dal videogioco chiamato Metal Gear Solid creato da Hideo Kojima,  questo schizzo qui raffigurato, è tratto da un disegno già esistente, il motivo per cui ho scelto un lavoro così semplice è la tecnica, mentre lo schizzo originale è fatto semplicemente con il pennello, questa mia trasposizione invece è fatta con un pennino in punta d'acciaio intinto nella china, è un bozzetto che verrà disegnato in una lastra di metallo per la così detta tecnica a punta secca.
